Powerflow Electronics offers a complete range of Filter Ball Valves (FBVs).
Sometimes referred to as Strainer Ball Valves, these Filter Ball Valves are
an ideal solution to extend solenoid valve life and increase the reliability
of down stream apparatus.
By providing a manual isolation ball-valve and fine mesh strainer in a
single, compact, easy to install component. The Filter ball valve can catch
contaminants that may other wise damage, or effect the operation of down
stream equipment, such as solenoid valves.
The Manual valve on the Filter Ball Valve can be closed to allow the filter
to be removed and cleaned as part of a routine maintneance schedule.
Powerflow recommend the use of Filter Ball Valves in conjntion with Drain
valves. A complete selection is available ranging in size from 1/8" to 1/2" in both BSPT and NPT thread types.
